Resolution 7156 provides for the Economic Development Advisory Commission. Professional experience and demonstrated expertise in key elements of finance/banking, land development, manufacturing, general business, and higher education. Councilors may appoint from any ward. Members must have principal place of business or residence within the jurisdictional limits of Albany.
Vacancies are filled year-round with recruitment for most groups in November.
This manual is intended to function as both a guideline and a governing framework for the City’s standing and ad hoc advisory groups.
